Last week, Kanye West Tweeted that "H.A.M.", his new single with Jay-Z, would debut on January 11-- today. And true to his word, the track debuted just now at the Watch the Throne Facebook page. Check it out to figure out what, exactly, those initials stand for.
"H.A.M.", produced by Lex Luger, is the first single from Watch the Throne, Kanye and Jay's collaborative album, which is reportedly set for a March 1 release on Def Jam. Get excited.

It's tough to become a TV star when you can't say your band's name on TV, but Damian Abraham has made the leap. The Fucked Up frontman is the new host of "The Wedge", the indie video show on the Canadian music network MuchMusic. Abraham will make his debut on the show January 26 at 10 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.
In a press release, Abraham says, "'The Wedge' played a huge part in my musical development. I'm honoured to be able to have the same impact on a new generation of music fans."
Talking to Exclaim!, Abraham says that it's been a dream of his to host the show, a staple of the network in the 90s: "It's weird because I never really dreamed of being in a band, but I definitely dreamed of being a VJ. I've always liked playing music for people better than I liked playing music."
As the show's new host, Abraham is already thinking of potential guests and directions, while acknowledging that he can't just play Cro-Mags vidoes. He tells Exclaim!, "There are so many people I've met on tour, so many weird music personalities that I'd love to have on 'The Wedge'. I think already I've made some serious plans to have these people who have weird sides to their personalities. [Dinosaur Jr.'s] J Mascis or Dean from No Age-- people who I have a really fun time with whenever I run into them on the road or play a festival with them. I would love to get 'Weird' Al back to and do some 'Al TV' episodes."

Wounded Rhymes, the sophomore effort from Swedish siren Lykke Li, is set for a March 1 release via Lykke's own LL Recordings (that's the pretty cool-looking cover art above). You've heard "Get Some", and now you can stream another dark, expansive cut, "I Follow Rivers", above. Dig that clattering drip-drop rhythm.
Hey, remember that split single between Wavves and Best Coast to commemorate their forthcoming tour that we told you about last week? Well, apparently the thing hits iTunes tomorrow, and Bananas Music Club has a stream of Wavves' contribution to the single, "Stained Glass (Won't You Let Me Into Yr Heart)".
Click here to check out the track, a zany psych-pop song that wouldn't have been out of place on the last MGMT record.
Swedish pop professionals Peter Bjorn and John will release Gimme Some, their new album, March 29 on StarTime International. The trio recorded the album with veteran Swedish pop producer Per Sunding, and now they've announced a few more details about the album. That quasi-disturbing triple-thumbs-up picture above is the cover art, and we've got the tracklist below.

Indie pop mainstays Stars released their most recent LP, The Five Ghosts, last year. Frontman Torquil Campbell is kicking 2011 off with more new music from his solo project Dead Child Star, as well as his side outfit with longtime friend Chris Dumont, Memphis.
First up is the Dead Child Star album, Cold Hands, Warm Heart, which is available digitally right now at Stars' online store. The nine-track LP features songwriting contributions from Broken Social Scene/Apostle of Hustle member Andrew Whiteman, Metric's Jimmy Shaw, and Minotaur Shock. That's the dusty-photo cover art above. You can also stream the whole album over at Stars' online store.
Memphis' third album, Here Comes a City, will see release March 8 via Arts & Crafts. According to a press release, the album's title is a nod to a song of the same name by Australian indie-pop greats the Go-Betweens. The announcement also contains this funny quote from Campbell: "It's kind of stupid for two grown men to have a gang based out of bicycles and pop music and weed and friendship, but we do, so fuck it." Okay! Download the Memphis track "I Want the Lights on After Dark" in exchange for an email address over here.

It's a long way from grimy punk basements to the stage of the "Late Show With David Letterman", but No Age have made the journey. The L.A. duo, who look more confident and less spazzy every time they touch a stage, stopped by the late-night institution on Friday night to play the BNM'ed Everything in Between highlight "Fever Dreaming", and Dave enjoyed it way more than you might expect. Watch the video below, via Consequence of Sound.
The next night, Ohio blues-rockers the Black Keys appeared on "Saturday Night Live", blazing their way through "Howlin' for You" and "Tighten Up". That means host Jim Carrey got a couple of minutes of rest from his strenuous, bugged-out comedy routines, and Keys frontman Dan Auerbach got to show the world how he looks without his trademark beard. Watch the video below, also via Consequence of Sound.
Vivian Girl Katy Goodman's La Sera project is set to release their self-titled debut LP February 15 via Sub Pop offshoot Hardly Art. Before that, La Sera will release a new 7" single on the label, "Devlis Hearts Grow Gold", January 18. Above, you can check out the single's title track (which also appears on the La Sera full-length); it'll be paired with the non-LP cut "Dedicated to the One I Love" as the B-side. That's the ultra-strange single art above; check out the tracklist for both the single and LP below.
